Rabbit: Peaches, Cream, Rhubarb & Custard

We had 6 kittens come in to us after their warren was collapsed by an inquisitive horse. Thankfully the

rider managed to swoop them up and bring them to safety. Unfortunately, 1 died during the horrific ordeal and another passed away not long after being in our care. However, we now have 4 fit and healthy bunnies, growing rather quickly.

After spending a short time inside where we could monitor them to make sure there were no other injuries that could affect them.

They then got moved to our larger outside enclosure and they settled in brilliantly. They almost immediately started digging their own nests instead of using the one we provided them.

We have released 2 other rabbits in the last few months into perfect areas where a lot of rabbits already call home. These 4 will also be released into these areas to give them the best chance of surviving on their own.

Rabbits are amazing animals with so much character and it has been lovely to watch them grow.

OUTCOME:

They have all now been released! We found the perfect site where there were lots of rabbits already living so we knew that they would do well there. They bounded out the carrier so quickly that we couldn't get a video of them!!
