Pigeon: Vince Vaughn
Meet Vince Vaughn, he is one of our latest patients and is in need of a lot of TLC, he is one of the thinnest pigeons we have had in and will
require lots and lots of time to recover. We have given him a boost by tube feeding and this afternoon he has made his first attempts to eat by himself. We didn't want to leave him too much longer without food so that is why we made the decision to tube feed him to get him through this tough time.
As you can see in the picture above his wings look absolutely huge compared to his tiny, thin body.
A massive thank you to the lovely lady who bought him in - he now has a fighting chance, Good luck Vince!
You can see from the photo below that Vince has made some huge improvements with his weight! We are absolutely thrilled - he is eating really well, putting on weight and his condition is improving.
We managed to get Vince fighting fit and ready to go! It took a long time to be able to get him to the right weight and make sure that he wasn't still so tame but he was able to be released with a few of our later orphans. We are all very, very happy!
