This lovely Dunnock has been bought in to us after being caught by someones cat. He has about half of his tail feathers missing and also a
small wound underneath his wing. Needless to say, he can't fly at the moment but otherwise seems to be doing pretty well - he is still quite feisty. He will be in with us for a while now, until his wound heals and his feathers grow back during his next moult.
We have administered some antibiotics to prevent any infection from taking root from the bacteria in the cats claws.
Danny was successfully released from one of our outside aviaries we have on site. He went off with some other songbirds so will have some friends on the outside.
