Hedgehog: May

Little May was found wandering around during the day - which is never a good sign - and was too underweight to be put back out. She

just would not have survived the harsh winter months, but thanks to a lovely couple and their son, she is now in safe hands.

Once we are happy with her weight, she can join our many other young hedgehogs on the road to release. She is in good spirits and seems pretty healthy so we are not worries about her at all!

May was released back to the garden she was found in as there were lots of hedgehogs living there already. The fantastic guys that lived there had created holes in the fences to allow her to move throughout the gardens and no one used slug pellets so it was perfect!
