House Martin: Norman

Norman came into us as a tiny fledgling and we instantly fell in love with him! He was found in a lovely families garden still sitting in his

destroyed nest. The lovely people that found him rushed him into us straight away. Unfortunately, they could not see any others but they are keeping their eyes peeled for us. He didn't have any injuries and was just a happy, chirpy little baby! We need to get him fattened up and ready to leave ASAP or he will miss the southern migration.

Norman is nearly ready to leave us, we are just waiting for the right place. He had been a lovely patient but he needs to go soon.

If anyone has seen any House Martins in their area please do get in touch!! Norman 'No Mates' is still here with us but he really needs to be released soon. House Martins are the last bird to breed in the UK, so there should still be some here before they make their way back to Africa.

We found somewhere for Norman to be released! We were so worried that we wouldn't be able to get him out on time but we have! We rang the RSPCA to see if they had any groups still around nearby...and they did!! We are so glad that it was a happy ending as we have become very attached of him.
