Wagtail: Growing Babies

These wagtails came in from someones who found the whole nest in the garden after a particularly nasty few days of rain and strong

winds. When they came in, they barely had any feathers so it was difficult to determine that they were indeed wagtails. Look how much our Wagtails have grown! Soon they will have fully fledged and be off on their own.

It has been a privilege to hand rear these orphans, they are such charismatic little birds and each have their own personality. We are sure they are going to do perfectly back in the wild.
