Supporting Wildife

Orphan and Hand Rearing  Volunteers

Hand-rearing wildlife involves caring for and feeding juvenile wildlife, typically orphaned or injured, during a time when they would normally be cared for by their parents, with the sole goal of  releasing them  back into the wild.

Hand-rearing is a specialised skill within wildlife rehabilitation that focuses on the care and rearing and re integration into the wild. animal. The wild animal remains under the care and control of our veterinary and rehabilitation team to ensure that behaviours and developments are compatible with reintroduction. Our wildlife is returned to the wild fully functioning and able to thrive.
