Who are we?

Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue is a registered wildlife charity that works 24/7, 365 days a year. We rescue, rehabilitate and release native wildlife – from tiny dormice to the majestic deer and everything in between.  We run a full operational facility including a veterinary practice and rehabilitation pens/areas for all British wildlife.  We have a small team of permanent staff and a large team of volunteers.

We provide a unique and vital service to our local community. Each of the thousands of animals we help every year has a unique story and a person, who cared enough to stop what they were doing and bring the animal to the rescue centre.

1. To be an expert in the rescue, veterinary care, rehabilitation and release of wildlife. 
2. To ensure the effective treatment and care of wildlife by developing and implementing veterinary standards; and providing guidance and best practice for non-veterinary organisations caring for wildlife. 
3. To protect wildlife by educating the public, working with industry and lobbying for change in government policy, practice and the law. 

What is the recruitment process?

1. Complete the application form
2. Your application will be reviewed
3. If successful, you will be invited for a zoom interview
4. If successful, you will be offered a face-to-face interview
5. If successful we will conduct pre-offer checks and on successful completion you will be offered the role.

If you are unsuccessful at any stage of the process, you will be informed.
