Be a Friend of HAWR Today

Join our friends scheme and support us throughout the year. You decided on the monthly donation and we benefit from a regular income. HAWR Friends makes an ideal gift for your family and your friends too. We can send  you Teo the bear in his coffee mug to you or to your family or friends and with a UK address the postage and packing is free. We can also send Teo around the world, but we will charge extra for postage.

We rely entirely on donations. Regular donations are important to us to enable us to plan our year and to budget.

Becoming our friend is simple. You decide if an annual or a monthly payment best suits you and complete the PayPal form in the link below. If you wish to send as a gift don’t forget to provide us with your friend or families address details.

Volunteering

We are always in need of hard working volunteers to support us. You can work a few hours a week, a day a week and even full time but you must be reliable. Please be realistic with your hours from one morning a week to full time – we need you

We have so many jobs that need doing. We need help in  reception answering the phones. We are constantly cleaning and have lots of laundry to do.  You can fundraise for us and attend events. We need help with our word press website and social media. We need help making videos. We need help outside with keeping paths clear, bushes trimmed and constant weeding. In fact if you can do it, we need it. In fact if you have time we have jobs for you. You will be trained on site, have use of our staff room for endless cuppas and meet other like minded people. Follow the link and fill in one of our forms to join our volunteering team. NOW

Corporate Support & Involvement With Wildlife

By working with Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue and showing Corporate Social Responsibility, you can ensure that your company gains the enhanced reputation created by being associated with a charity who is well respected in its specialist field.

We can work with your PR team to ensure you get up to date reports to enhance your staff newsletters / company magazines and your own opportunities to be promoted through our national coverage in the media.

Project Amazing Grace

Saving Britains Hedgehogs

The Humble Hog was once a common sight in our midnight gardens. Developments, habitat decline and loss of connectivity in our green space are just some of the challenges that have impacted on these delightful creatures. We launched Project Amazing Grace to look at these changes and to make a brighter future for our spiky friends.

OUR CONTACT DETAILS

Our hours are 9 am – 5pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Please call 01344 623106 for advice and to admit a wild animal. Please be patient: If the phone is not answered during this time please leave a message or contact you local vets if it is an emergency.

Please be patient when calling, we may be busy treating a patient.

We apologise in advance if your call is not responded to, we will simply be on another emergency. We work very long hours and we all do our best to support wildlife with passion and dedication. We wish we could but we cannot respond to every wildlife emergency.

Our E-mail: info@hawr.co.uk

We have limited accommodation at the rescue and it is essential that the wild animal is checked in prior to arrival to ensure we have space.
