A fun night. A serious difference.

Every ticket helps support our wildlife hospital, where our team cares for sick, injured and orphaned wildlife, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.Your support helps provide veterinary care, medicines, specialist food and safe spaces for  recovery. While you’re puzzling over the answers, you’re helping give wildlife a second  chance.

Our colourful Quizzardry owl celebrates the beautiful tawny owl, whose familiar hoohooing has been part of Britain’s nighttime soundtrack for generations. Sadly, tawny owls have suffered a long-term population decline and are now on the UK’s Amber List of conservation concern. Caring for them on the front line and protecting protecting the woodland and mature trees where they shelter and nest helps safeguard their future.

By joining us for Quizzardry, you’re helping us protect woodlands and care for injured owls and other wild animals at our wildlife veterinary hospital, giving them another chance at a life in the wild.

OUR WONDERFUL HOSTS

Thank you, The Surrey Cricketers.

Come for the quiz. Stay for the hot supper. Blame your teammates for the score.

Questions for Quizzardry

Can we come with fewer than six people?

Absolutely! You can compete on your own or as a smaller team. Six is the maximum, not a requirement. If you’d like to meet other players, you can join our Quizzardry Bank.

What is the Quizzardry Bank?
It’s a way for individuals and smaller groups to find teammates on the evening. We’ll help bring people together into teams of up to six. Joining is entirely optional — you’re welcome to stay with your own team.

Is there an age limit?
There’s no upper age limit — just bring your curiosity and sense of humour!

What prizes are available?
There will be cash prizes for the top three teams and our much-loved ‘Quizzardry Chicks’ for those at the bottom of the leaderboard. The winners get the money, but everyone seems to want the owls!

Is food included?
Yes! A hot supper is included in your ticket, and drinks are available to buy from the fully licensed bar. Please tell us about any dietary requirements when booking so we can check arrangements with the venue.

Is parking available?
Yes, The Surrey Cricketers has a good-sized car park.

What facilities are available?
There are toilets and wheelchair access. If you have any specific accessibility requirements, please email Quizzardry@hawr.co.uk before booking or contact The Surrey Cricketers directly.

Can we make an additional donation on the night?
Yes, and we’d be very grateful! We’ll have collection buckets for cash donations and card machines available. Cheques are welcome too — for anyone who still remembers where they put their chequebook!

Will there be more Quizzardry nights?
We hope so! Keep an eye on our website for future dates, fresh questions and another chance to prove that your last result was a complete fluke.

We’ll be selling raffle tickets during the break while food is served — another chance to win something lovely and support our wildlife hospital!
